CONGREGATIONAL MINISTRIES

The best way to know who God is and what God does is through the Bible. Even though we all could read and study the Bible individually, we learn so much more when we read and study the Bible together. Sunday school classes and Bible study groups at Maple Grove offer a variety of options for kids through adults.

Children & Youth

Sunday school classes occur each week at 9:30 a.m. Classes are available for all age groups, Pre-K through 12th Grade.

Children will journey together through Scripture as they sing, play, create, and pray.

On occasion, we offer a children’s lesson during Worship Service. The children gather for a brief object lesson that is often equally enjoyable for adults.

Adults

Sunday School classes occur each week at 9:30 a.m. Classes are available for adults in all stages of life.

Groups will journey through systematic studies of the Bible or confront practical Bible topics.

Our adult Bible study groups are where the best, true Christian fellowship begins. You get to know one another, share burdens, joys and concerns, making them the most practical way to get involved in caring for one another. They are the best opportunity for spiritual growth in our church.

Adult Activities

If Sunday morning is for learning, then the rest of the week is for living. Small groups provide a comfortable atmosphere for openness, while creating a context to live out our faith in real life. Currently, most small groups at Maple Grove align with our adult Sunday school classes. And whether we are meeting up in each other’s homes, or planning a special event or outing, small groups are places we can open-up, learn and grow.

Children & Youth Activities

When kids have opportunities for leadership, understanding, and friendship, it can help them feel good about themselves, and navigate adolescence in ways that advance their skills. Youth groups at Maple Grove provide a safe space for kids to know God, grow in love and faith, and change the world we live in.

Opportunities are also available for our kids to work together, contributing to special services and activities.

“Maple Grove Mennonite Church is a place where I have grown spiritually through thoughtful scripture-based sermons from the pastor, and I've been enriched by meaningful small group discussions in Sunday School.”
